Why Keep Your Cooling System Clean?

Cooling systems contain a mixture of water and antifreeze/coolant.
The water reacts with steel and iron causing rust, and with aluminum causing corrosion.
Minerals in the water cause scale deposits to form.
These deposits restrict coolant flow, which causes the engine to overheat.

Rust, scale, grease and other deposits form in the cooling system over time.  These deposits restrict the flow of the fluid in the cooling system.  When this occurs, the heat is not transferred from hot engine parts to the coolant, which leads to the overheating of the engine. Power flushing the system removes virtually 100% of the contaminated fluid.  Adding a cooling system flush chemical prior to flushing the system removes rust, corrosion, scale, and grease from the entire system.  Have this service performed according to your manufacturer's recommendations for longer cooling system life!
Most manufacturers recommend Cooling System Cleaning every 30,000 miles.
